No LIVE blades - meaning ones that can cut someone. If the sword is wooden, rubber...etc... then it will not be peace tied - there's no reason to.

As for the Airsoft gun, as long as there's no clip/it's not loaded, I think that would be fine - however, I didn't write the weapons policy and that's beyond my jurisdiction. You may bring your props, though I cannot say whether or not Con-Ops will allow them and they may ask you to keep them in your room.

There are rules up on the website that should help further explain this. ^^

Okay, thanks much for the reply. Just wanted to make sure. One more question, I'm asking this on behalf of writers_blade. His Sven Vollfied cosplay does have a metal prop, though it's a briefcase (there's actually a picture of it in the "Display your cosplay!" topic). Would that be in violation of any prop guidelines? I want to make sure that way I can inform him if it is.

No, a metal brief case is not in violation of the weapons policy. ^^'

oh wow! my parents are gonna like to hear this! even if theres no clip in the gun,i still think ill remove the aluminum barrel that loads the airsoft pellets into the gun.the thing is partially broken, being as the pull back mechanism wont -manly bits- back unless i take the whole gun apart, however i wanna be EXTRA careful that i dont have this thing confiscated, even though i still would like to bring it. i dont think im renting a room actually, and ill be having my parents drop me off and pick me back up when im ready to call it a night.anyway, thanks alot sir. :ahoy: i look forward to seeing you at the con!

peace tied? my rubber knife doesnt have a sheath so how would we go about that? i mean the thing isnt even dangerous. the only POSSIBLE way it could harm someone is if it gets in their throat. and i dont think anyone is insane enough to eat my knife, right?

hand it over.
