Always a very popular thing to have at a con (trust me!)

I think this is because many people don't come in cosplay and once they get to the con, buying kimono makes them feel like they're participating more.

Additionally, we're mostly Japanophiles here so we gobble up any opportunity to get our own little piece of Japanese culture. (SO not a bad thing.)

If you don't have anyone else on the list, please consider Toadhill shops. They're from Minnesota but they make the rounds to ALL of the conventions I've gone to so far and then some.

Their website is sparse but they have rooms-full of kimono - more then they could even bring to a convention, even! I love these girls. ^.^

* I should mention that they specialize in having sizes to suit American bodies. I'm just shy of 6 foot and about 240 pounds and even I was able to get a ladies' yukata.

lolita dresses and fairy kei fashions would be nice to see as well

Although I would like to see a booth selling lolita clothing, I'm usually on edge when it comes to them being sold at cons just because they tend to be cheaply made and/or uber expensive (I know that brand runs pretty high and dealers tend to overmark items).

Does anyone remember that one booth at Anime Central that sold all sorts of brand name lolita clothing? They don't have a website, but I'm hoping to catch them again.

EDIT: this isn't the shop that I'm looking for, but from what I've been told, Mashimaro Girl will be at Natsucon this year
